The Cabin · Since the sixties
We've been here for three generations, right outside St Michael's Cave. It's a restaurant, café and gift shop in a wooden cabin, with big windows looking out over the Strait.
Nothing fancy. Coffee and breakfast in the morning, then grilled fish, salads and fish and chips for lunch. Plenty of people stop in after the cave tour before heading back down.
Most people just call us The Cabin. Same family, same spot by the windows.
Next door · St Michael's Cave
Step outside and you're at the cave entrance. It's one of the main stops on the Upper Rock, and we're the café waiting when you come back out.
How to get hereFrom the kitchen
Breakfast from 9, then lunch through the afternoon. Fish and chips, grilled fish, salads, burgers, cakes and cold drinks. Good portions for people who've been walking around the Rock.

Find the cabin
We're on Ohara's Road at the entrance to St Michael's Cave, inside the Nature Reserve. You can drive up, take the cable car and a taxi, or walk.
